The Tazenda is an Italian group etno-POP-rock, format in Sardinia in 1988 to work of Andrea Parodi, Gigi Camedda and Gino Marielli, characterized from the constant reference to traditional music of the isolana culture and to the Sardinian language. The name has been taken from “Second Foundation”, a novel of Isaac Asimov who ago part of the “Cycle of the Foundation”. In the novel the planet “Tazenda” plays a fundamental role (the name derives from Star's End).
