Hi Everyone. I want to first thank Ron and the administrative group here at Create Songs Styles for such a wonderful site. My name is Al Johnson and I am a vocal singer. I am a proud user of the Korg Pa1x arranger keyboard. In addition to the Pa1x-Pro I use the Triton Studio keyboard, Cubase SX4/Wavelab. I am by no means a master of any of these mediums (smile). I love music and the technology it has offered to us today. What a great time to be alive. I have retired from my employment after 35 1/2 years and spend most of my time studying music and enjoying my musical toys. I prefer sitting in front of my keyboards and computer than sitting on a lake catching fish. I love frying fish but do not like to see them wiggle and die (LOL). I also enjoy photography and cooking. In fact, I make the best Sea Food Gumbo and Bar-B-Que west of New Orleans. No I am not from the south, but I love southern cooking. I was born in California,USA about 15 miles from Hollywood California (mentioned as a land mark only). I performed, or moonlighted if you would, as a Jazz Singer, R&B and Rock singer during the 70,80's in small night clubs. Unfortunately, I did not make it to Carnigie Hall (laugh) and you won't see my name in the Rockin Roll Hall of Fame. I guess I had to decide to feed my family first. Most of the music I love, being a child of the 60's, are Romantic Standards/Ballads and Old Fashion Gospel Ballads. My favorite artist range from Nat K. Cole,Tony Benette, Nancy Wilson, Mel Torme, Andy Williams, Marvin Gaye, Frank Sinatra ,Dean Martin and Carmen Mc Crae just to name a few. I have been married to my wife for 29 years and I have four children. Last but not least, and not in this order, I believe in the creator of all things and by Him all things were created.
